The popular word view of Japan is of ultra-modern, high-tech, unique, humble, exotic food, high-quality yet not to open to outside world. To the Indians, Japan is that unique world that is far different from any highly developed western country. Since trade has opened, Indians have seen Japanese goods as high quality and have also developed sense of reliability and durability. With all this most of the Indians aspire to visit Japan. We’ve long yearned for someone else to create a brand that stands for it all, only to pickup the baton for ourselves. Each of our product offering has been well researched, to deliver satisfaction.

Her passion for to learn about new things let her into the world of travel and she started to work for Thomas Cook India in 2005 and from then it has been no looking back. She has travelled to some of the finest destinations in world be it China, Dubai, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Switzerland and USA. But what caught her fantasy was one country that is Japan, though in her wildest of dreams she never thought of Japan as a destination that she would love and keep going back. Over the years she has travelled to most of the iconic places in Japan and experienced local food / cultural, science and technology and many more things.

But what formed lasting impressions in terms of destination were Italy and Japan. The way these two destinations have preserved their heritage, culture and food, it is second to none. In other words, both the destinations are perfect blend of past, present and future.
This is what got him thinking about doing something different and passion for Japan brought him on board to initiate NTH. Apart from travelling, he enjoys photography, writing travel and food column, hiking and cycling.

There are countless reasons to recommend Japan. I'll give you some of them;
Since Japanese food has been registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2013, it has become a worldwide boom and a lot of visitors go to Japan to enjoy food there.
Japan is spread out from Hokkaido - north to Okinawa - south, the beauty of each season from cherry blossoms in spring to fresh green, autumn leaves, and snowy scenery in winter can be seen. You can even enjoy skiing in the world class ski resorts in northern areas and scuba diving in Okinawa.
Even in a big city like Tokyo, lost and found items will be returned, and even a single woman can go out in the middle of the night. Cleanliness is maintained everywhere in Japan. You can watch popular live sumo matches. Outdoor activities are also popular- you can climb the mountain and hiking while flower viewing.
Universal Studios Japan, Tokyo Disney Resort, Fuji-Q Highland, Sanrio Puroland, Nikko Edomura, etc. are also very popular especially for family with children.
"Shopping" is also popular, such as cosmetics, health goods, sweets, electrical appliances, fashion items, and 100-yen shops are fun even just to look around.
There are so many festivals as well such as "Gion Festival" in Kyoto, the "Nebuta Festival" in Aomori, the "Snow Festival" in Hokkaido, the "Awa Odori" in Tokushima Koenji, the "Danjiri Festival", the "Goshira Festival" and many more!
It is pure love for this amazing destination, that keep me motivated to promote Japan.
It was the fascinating collaboration between Sonia & Sharad in 2020 that got them together to start NTH and we welcome you to experience Japan like never before.
“Exploration is experiencing what you have not experienced before.”
